Cruise Control

Cruise Control is a journey where we search for levity and whimsy in the daily grind of traffic. Check out Stickems Decorative Car Magnets. And, Enjoy the Ride!

40 Things to do in 2008

I received this circulation in an email, but it bears repeating.  I especially like tip #40 as it is right in line with Cruise Control’s way of thinking.

1. Take a 10-30 minute walk every day. And while you walk, smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant.
2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day . Buy a lock if you have to.

25. No one is in charge of your happiness except you .
26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words: “In five years, will this matter?”
27. Forgive everyone for everything.
28. What other people think of you is none of your business .
29. Time heals almost everything. Give time, time .
30. However good or bad a situation is, it will change. So stop complaining about the weather, the job, the rents etc etc
31. Your job wont take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.
32. Get rid of anything that isnt useful, beautiful or joyful.
